We also stock
soft sole Demi-Pointes. The difference between
a Pointe Shoes and a Demi-Pointe Shoe is
that the dancer does not go up ‘en
pointe,’ or up on her toes. They have
the structured look of a Pointe Shoe, however
the ability to pointe is easier due to the
soft suede sole. A Demi – Pointe helps
to strengthen the foot in readiness for
pointe work.
